Formation of Mahila Sadbhavna Manch Nagpur – “Resolve to build a clean, cultured society”
Nagpur – Various women’s organizations and women’s NGOs from Nagpur, Dahegaon, Kamthi together formed the Sadbhavna Manch. The program was organised on the occasion of International Human Rights Day, under the joint aegis of Jama’at-e-Islami Hind, Nagpur Women’s Department and 25 different women’s organizations and NGOs at Gurudev Seva Mandal Bhavan, located on Subhash Road, Jum’a Taalab, near Raman Science Centre.
These organizations include Jijau Brigade, Maratha Seva Sangh, Yadav Mahila Mandal, Satya Shodhak Mahila Mahasangh,
Mahila Gram Sangh Dahegaon, Ruby Welfare Society, Global Multipurpose Organization, Awaz Foundation,
BAMCEF Women’s Department Kamthi, Indian Ambedkarite Women’s Forum, Vidarbha Lady Light Association, Navnirman Mahila Sangathan, All India Muslim Women’s Association, Bintul Muslim Council,
Buddhist Multipurpose Women’s Association,
Alongside the city president, Dr. Sabeeha Khan and other office bearers of Jama’at-e-Islami Hind women’s department; Mrs
Prem Lata Jadhav, Ranjana Arvind Saroday , Chhaya Devi Yadav, Manjusha Gajbhiye, Saroj Aaglawe, Rubina Patel, Saroj Dange Tai, Nanda Manik Bhagat expressed their views.
The fire of hatred, various inhuman, bad rituals, bad cultures have engulfed society. It is possible to get rid of them with an atmosphere of love and compassion. As a result of this, a clean, cultured environment can be created in the society and the country. Organizations present resolved to cooperate fully and work together for this cause.
With the consensus of all the organizations, Dr. Sabiha Khan was elected as the president of Sadbhavna Manch, Dr. Saroj Aglave and Sujata Bongde were chosen as secretaries. The remaining executive members of the forum will be selected soon.
Benazir Khan explained the purpose of the Sadbhavna Manch, Shabana Shaikh conducted the program reciting the Holy Quran with Marathi translation.
